A sacred place of youth culture and fashion. Let’s visit must-see spots in the area.Hachiko (or Hachi) is the most famous dog in Japan known as a loyal dog to his master. The story of him is so moving. Over the statue is the world-famous Shibuya Crossing. Let’s walk and experience the crossing, and then enjoy the view of it from the upside.

You may experience a “notorious” Tokyo's rush hour train, depending on the time of day. Please don’t fail to get off at the next station, Harajuku.

Meiji Shrine

Meiji Shrine, a Shinto shrine, was founded in 1920. It enshrines Emperor Meiji, the father of modern Japan, and his wife Empress Meiji. It nestles in the very unique, beautiful forest. Good chance of direct contact with the spirit of Shinto, the indigenous religion of Japan.

East garden of the Imperial Palace

Present Imperial Palace used to be Edo Castle where Tokugawa Shogun lived in and governed Japan from the beginning of the 17th century to 1867. Passing though the main gate, you may feel as if you were a daimyo feudal lord, back in time of samurai era. East garden has almost all important elements for a traditional Japanese landscape garden. Your guide gives you tips how to enjoy the garden while walking around the beautiful garden, the wooden area and so on.

JR Tokyo Station

Listed as an important cultural asset, Tokyo Station is the biggest terminal station of Japan’s railway system. It has a lot of trivia. In the station, you will find a lot of shops selling a variety of “bento” boxed meals and foods from all over Japan.

Akihabara

Once famous as “Electric town,” now Akihabara, nicknamed AKIBA, is known as a mecca of Japanese pop culture. Pop culture may sound something really new. However, you will realize Japanese pop culture, that includes figurines, cosplay dresses and cute idols, is based on the traditional “craftsmanship” the Japanese have long been cultivating. After strolling around the town, you may feel like an expert of Akihabara. On the street, you may meet “maid-san,” cute girls who wear maid costumes.

Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate)

Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate) is the front gate for the temple. With a big red lantern, this is the most famous gate in Tokyo and a symbol of Asakusa.

Nakamise Street

Nakamise Street is the main approach to the temple. Both sides of the street are lined with a lots of souvenir and sweets shops with “Edo taste.” People in Edo era may have looked into the shops and enjoyed, too.

Senso-ji Temple

Did you know Senso-ji Temple is the oldest Buddhist temple in Tokyo? People have been visiting here for more than 1000 years! The main hall, the five-story pagoda, stone Buddhist images, monuments and so on are in the precinct.

You realize this is a religious site as well as an entertainment district. It’s like a theme park to enjoy an atmosphere of Tokyo in the past and present.

Asakusa Shrine

Asakusa Shrine, famous for Sanja Festival, is the last spot of the tour. About 400-year-old main hall is a secret art spot with many carvings of sacred animals whose colors were restored in 1990s.

Remarks : Please read carefully before you book the tour.

Tour time : 9:00 – 17:00
(can be changed as per your
request)
Meeting time: 15 min. before the starting time.
Tour duration : 8 hours.

We will visit Nijyu-bashi (double bridges) in the Imperial Palace on the day Imperial Palace East Garden is closed.

①Imperial Palace East Garden Closed on:

(1) Mondays and Fridays, National holidays except Emperor’s Birthday holiday will be open. The garden is open if Monday falls on to a national holiday but Tuesday will be closed instead.

(2) The days with public events and/or any other unavoidable circumstances.   

②The itinerary or places to visit may change due to the conditions of weather, traffic or guests, and/or circumstances          that beyond our control (No refund).   

③This tour uses public transportations and you are supposed to walk long distance. Please wear comfortable clothes            and shoes to move around in.  

Depending on your conditions, the guide will offer short breaks occasionally,

and may suggest some change of the itinerary. (No refund for the change).

⑤The tour will be canceled if the guests did not show up for more than 30 minutes from meeting time without notice          (No refund).

⑥Tour will finish on time as scheduled without completing the itinerary, if the guests were late to the meeting time                and/or any other reasons due to the guests caused delay on tour time. However, the tour can be extended to                      complete the itinerary per request. The additional charge will be applied for extension (1000 yen per 30mins).  

⑦Tour price includes: train fare within Tokyo

Lunch is not included. The tourist guide will take you to a dining place. If you have any food requirements because            of your religions, health, or other reasons, please inform us in advance. *Please indicate in the comment section at                the time of booking.

 

 

■Measures to prevent the spread of infection

We ask your corporation to prevent spreading COVID-19.

Please wear your mask during the tour.

Please cover your mouth with a mask, handkerchief, tissues etc. when sneezing or coughing.

Person falls under any of the following conditions will not be allowed to participate to the tour. Please confirm each              condition listed below.

①Person who traveled overseas within 14 days of the tour day, or had close contact with someone who returned                  from  other countries within 14 days of the tour day.

②Person who had one of the following symptoms within 14 days of the tour day: fever, cough, taste disorders.

③Person with any of the following symptoms :

Have a temperature of 37.5°C (99.5°F) or higher.

Have cold-like symptoms (fever, cough, sneeze, sore throat etc.)

Fatigue, or shortness of breath

Feel unwell or have concern on physical condition

Please refer to the terms and condition for cancellation due to the symptoms listed in 3.
